Cultivating Deeply Rooted Organizational Sustainability

Navigation Through Systems Thinking, Collaboration, and Practical Implementation.

Organizations rarely struggle with sustainability because they lack ideas. The challenge is often what happens around those ideas: departments operate in silos, goals remain disconnected from everyday practices, stakeholder engagement happens too late, initiatives depend on one champion, or stakeholders have different ideas of what sustainability means.

Radicle Earth helps organizations examine why their sustainability efforts become fragmented and identify durable pathways to build more connected and participatory sustainability efforts. Through systems thinking, collaborative inquiry, and practical implementation, we will help organizations connect sustainability goals with the relationships, structures, people, and practices that shape success.

WHAT WE DO

Clarify what sustainability means here.

Develop a shared understanding of what sustainability and responsibility mean within your organization, how they connect to your mission and vision, and the value they bring to people and communities connected to your work.

Understand the relationships and systems that shape what is possible.

Explore the stakeholders, resources, ecological systems, dependencies, organizational policies and systems that influence your organization’s capacity to sustain its goals.

Strengthen alignment between intention and practice.

Examine how the relationships and systems support or deter the sustainability commitments that matter to your organization.

Participate as a Steward

Create meaningful opportunities for stakeholders to contribute knowledge, shape decisions, and share ownership of sustainability efforts. Through participation, feedback, learning, and adaptive implementation, responsibility can become more distributed and sustainability work can endure as conditions change.

WHO WE SERVE

Radicle Earth works with higher education institutions, municipalities and public agencies, nonprofits, mission-driven organizations, and community initiatives navigating complex responsibilities.

We understand every organization exists within a unique context shaped by people, place, purpose, relationships, resources, and the systems around it. We help make those conditions more visible so you can recognize the capacity already present, identify where greater alignment is needed, and strengthen your ability to steward what matters over time.

Let us start with where you are, explore what is shaping your work, and what can become enduring.

WHY RADICLE EARTH

A Relational Approach to Sustainability

Sustainability becomes durable when conditions are supportive.

Organizations are living systems shaped by values, histories, structures, resources, environments, and relationships between the people who participate in them.

Radicle Earth approaches sustainability through this broader lens. We help organizations understand not only what they want to change, but also the conditions that influence whether that change can take root.

Our work brings together systems thinking, life cycle and social life cycle assessment, sustainability practice, stakeholder participation, collaborative facilitation, and practical implementation to help organizations move from good intentions to lasting responsibility.

Radicle Earth honors the Indigenous peoples whose lands we live and work on including the Ute, Tiwa Pueblos of Isleta and Sandia, as well as nearby Santa Ana, San Felipe, Kewa (Santo Domingo), and Cochiti Pueblos, the Jicarilla and Mescalero Apache Tribes, and the Diné (Navajo Nation).

Our head quarters in Albuquerque and the East Mountains exists on lands that have been cared for by Native communities for generations, long before colonization, and long into the future. We acknowledge the ongoing presence, leadership, and resistance of Indigenous peoples in New Mexico and across Turtle Island.
